Hello all,
I know how to create a reduced table in Table View with the following code:
CGJOBS Reduced = CALCULATETABLE(CGJOBS, CGJOBS[JOB] IN VALUES (realocJOBS [JOB]))
But I need to create the reduced table in power query using the original table copy. Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance
Solved! Go to Solution.
You could do a 'merge as new'-> inner join on the two columns to be matched.
Then Delete the additional column that gets created.
OR
create a list from the column to be matched. This is done from the Transform tab in Power Query
(the list is called ListOfValues in the code below)
Add a line to the M code of the table query to select rows e.g
#"Filtered Rows" = Table.SelectRows(#"Added Custom", each (List.Contains( ListOfValues, [ColumnToMatch] )))
