When using a SQL Server database connection, if I set up parameters I can use those to dynamically enter the server and database names. This gives me the option to either type out the server name, or select "Parameter" from the drop down list to use the value entered in the parameter that I select.
Is it possible to set up this functionality with a custom connector? When I connect to my custom connector, I only see an option to type out the text values. I would like the option to switch that to use the parameters I have set up, if possible. Similar to how it looks in the previous screenshot for a SQL Server database connection.
When I type out the values and load the data through my custom connector, it returns something like this, with those values I typed in double quotes.
I have validated that I can replace that text with a reference to my parameters that I set up, so I know it can accept parameters as inputs.
Did you manage to find a solution for this?
