Hi all, I am having trouble trying to get Power Query Editor to ignore the line breaks in my imported CSV files.
I need to combine my CSV files from my main folder and sub folders in Sharepoint. I have edited the Transform Sample File Source but the line breaks are still creating new rows. I have also tried to use sharepoint.list and edited the source like below but still doesn't work. I have also tried to just import one of the CSV files but the line breaks still creating new rows.
Does anyone have any other ideas I can try?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Probably your CSV is not formatted in an acceptable manner. So you can either change the CSV so the line breaks are properly quoted, or create a rule for which linebreaks to ignore and which to honor, and recombine the file after you have imported it.

Thanks @ronrsnfld I exported my data to .xlsx first and then re saved it to CSV. This seems to fix the issue.
