Power Query Advanced Editor - Time Selection

Dear All,

Do I have any options to filter time variable directly in Power Query Advanced Editor?

I have a dynamic time variable of 24 months (see below), but it currently seems impossible to handle the data for all 24 months. I get a memory outage after 10 mins 15 seconds ('The operation is timed out"). What I would like is to take only the first 12 months of that dynamic 24 month-period.

{{Cube.ApplyParameter, "[!V000005]", {"[0CURTYPE].[B0]"}} ----- Dynamic 24 Months

Would you have any tips/suggestions as to what I could do to achieve the desired result?

Thank you.

Hi @Giorgi1989 ,

Currently as far as I know there is no direct options to filter time variable directly in Power BI, to use the parameters dynamically, we can try to create a list parameter and quote it dynamically.

In addition, for some examples about Cube.ApplyParameter, you can refer:

  1. Relative Date Range in Adobe Analytics
  2. Power Query Apply Parameter
