Hi,
I am puzzled to see more rows returned by Power Query than SQL Server query on SSMS.They are same query and basic select all statements. I am using same credentials (windows auth.) for both. Can anybody tell what would be possible causes?
Thanks

Oh I was using wrong servers. I made the rookie mistake🙄
Can you provide a sample of your M code? The only way you can get "more records" is if you do a merge where table b has multiple records to match with table a, like Header and Details records.

MCSA: BI ReportingHi Edhans,
I have used wrong terminology. I have used same sql query as data source and I get roughly more than 1k rows. I dont merge with another table. I even removed the predicates in my query to get same counts. They are still returning different counts.
Thanks
