Passing Slicer Selections into a SQL Query with Direct Query.

Hi guys,

I want to retrieve data from a table or view from SQL server based on Slicer selection by users. I have two slicers, one with start date and another with end date.

Example: SELECT * FROM TABLE WHERE DATE>=(Slicer 1)STARTDATE AND DATE<(Slicer 2)ENDDATE

Please let me know how to acheive this.

Kind regards!

Hi,

The feature is only supported for M based data sources, not for T-SQL based data sources: SQL Server, Azure SQL Database.

Any other suggestion?

Good morning.  Is this still not possible with SQL Server?

Thanks...Chris
