PBIX file encryption

Are pbix files encrypted? If not any ideas on how to keep the files encrypted while still allowing the data to be access by the end user?

@Anonymous Can you explain what you want a bit more here, the answer is likely "no", because there are no controls or security levels that can be added to the file itself. What would you want locked down? The entire model/data and only allow the end user to see the report section?

This sort of reads like you want to pass around Desktop files as reports.
