Hi everyone,
I have an issue on MS Excel when I connect an Excel spreadsheet to a semantic model.
I used two ways:
In both case, I am not able to create a timeline.
In the semantic model, the date is properly formatted as Date.
I checked a lot of discution even from 2017... But I didn't find a fix.
Can you help me on that.
Seb

Hi @Anonymous
I tried a solution from the following old thread. It works for me. Analyze in excel insert timeline error - Microsoft Fabric Community
Mark the table as date table. Then publish the pbix file to the service to replace the old semantic model.
Then I'm able to select the date column for a timeline slicer.
Best Regards,
Jing
