On-Premises gateway: Rows from one table are missing

Hi All,

I am having some really strange issues with refreshing data from on-premises datasources using the gateway.

I am having a report in Power BI Desktop, when I refresh it from there everything works fine. When I try to refresh the report using the on-premises gateway (enterprise) some rows from one table are missing.. The gateway has been updated and it works fine for other reports.

Does anyone know what is wrong here?

Thanks!

Ruben

Hi @Anonymous,

Verify any modification made to the report in service while you aren't aware. To check this, please republish the refreshed report from the desktop to service to overwrite the original report. Then refresh the report both in desktop and service at the same time to see is there any difference.

Also make sure the credential set for the data source under data gateway is the same one used in desktop.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

Hi @v-qiuyu-msftQiuyun Yu

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried everything you said, but it does not help.

I am sure that:

- The gateway + credentials are right. Other reports are working/refreshing fine, using the same gateway.

- I have re-installed the gateway

- When I publish the report from the Desktop, all the data is being displayed. When I refresh the data within the service via the gateway, only a part of all the rows are being refreshed.

- I am sure no any other changed are being made at the same time.

- The report contains data from 3 tables. The missing data is from the same table.

I really have no idea what to do about it..
