OLE DB or ODBC error "[DataFormat.Error] We couldn't convert to Number..

doveShampoo_1-1696650770602.png

i was doing some transformation in power query, but when i close and apply, i get this error. its my first time seeing this. i tried looking at similar questions but i still don't get how to solve this.

I've went into applied steps -> Changed Type, and used the Detect Data Type. Is this not good enough?

EDIT 2

it seems that this error happens when i filter a column. If i don't do this step everythings ok

any help much appreciated! let me know if you need more info.

Check your column has values other than numbers that's why you are getting this error. I did face this kind of error while working with the client's data.

DataFormat error. What I do is try to find out the column having the error then change the data type. If I get an error similar to yours then I change the data type to text.
