ODBC Query Unicode Error

Hi all,

We are having difficulties with a native query using ODBC on our 4D database. We are already using this data source in a report (created and published with Power BI Desktop September version), which works perfectly.

When developing a new report , the following error message now appears almost continuously:

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

Best regards
MG

Hi @Anonymous

I found an old thread having the same error with ODBC query. See if it helps: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Power-Query/Unable-to-translate-Unicode-character/td-p/1183417

Maybe it's not a Power Query issue. You may try in other applications or programming scripts to test if your computer can query data from the same database with this ODBC driver.
