Multiple connections for BW

Can we create multiple connection to the same BW instance with the different user ID’ and use these connections in the dataflows with respect to their business areas.

We tried to create the connections with same client with different user ID's and for same instance which is a BW system but connections are having issues while executing the data flows.

I think you can if you have different ID Client, but not connect to the same ID Client / system with different users.

Do you try it ?
