Model driven app subgrids, how do I get the data inside these into powerbi?

Hi All, 

I have a model driven app with related tables utilising subgrids however I can not seem to connect to the data inside these within my model driven app into powerbi to report on them? 

Is there a trick to it im missing?

Hi rubayatyasmin, 

I have a model driven app built and out to my audience already. The issue being content, I cant get content from a subgrid into powerbi, which I believe is a powerbi question. Does anyone have any answers about how to do this?

Hi, 

Can you use Dataverse and then connect it to Power Query? This way probably you won't get the data but worth the try. 

Also, can you create a power automate Flow triggered by changes in the subgrid data. Flow can then push this data to a location such as SharePoint, or SQL Database then you get data in PBI.

i think this is more of power apps related question. 

you need to create a workspace, dashboard in power BI service and a report in power BI. 

then you will have to add the dashboard and the report to a solution in Power apps. then create a new model-driven app and then add the PBI embeded report.
