Missing last column

I have been importing the same excel file in my power BI through power Query for roughly 2 years. Each month I download the updated version of the file and reload it in power BI

The file countains 13 columns and only one sheet.

Since last month, power query ignore the column 13 of the file (it does not appear any more at any step of my query).

I tried recreating a query from scratch => same problem

I changed the order of the column in the tool I use for my extract (puting my last column in 2 place) => the new last column is now ignored

If I i cut/paste the last column in a new spot =>it is now loaded

As a temporary fix, I added a bogus column as column 14 (containing a copy of the data of another column) in my extract so column 14 is now the ignored column instead of column 13. That's a temporary fix but it works (even if it increases the size of my excel extract by 20%)

Does anyone has any idea of the cause of the problem and how to solve it ?

Hi @Arkhos94 ,

1. If it is a .csv file, go to the first step of the query and check the code, the number of columns is displayed as a parameter. Remove the parameter and the code will automatically detect the number of columns.

2. Use Table.SelectColumns: Instead of using Table.RemoveColumns, you could use the Table.SelectColumns function. This function allows you to specify which columns to keep, rather than which ones to remove.

If the problem is not resolved, consider releasing the code in the advanced editor, taking care to remove private information such as data sources.

Best Regards,
Gao

The source is an .xlsx file

Here are the first lines of  my advenced editor code :

let
Source = Excel.Workbook(Web.Contents("https://XXX-my.sharepoint.com/personal/myonedrivemailadress/Documents/PowerBIQualityReport/Myfilenam..."), null, true),
Campagne_Sheet = Source{[Item="Campagne",Kind="Sheet"]}[Data],
