Hi all,
I have a query with many errors in a specific column, resulting from different kinds of problems. I would like to get a list of these problems in order to deal with each one specifically.
I can easily create a table containing only the rows of the query with errors, but then in order to see the specific problem for each error I have to click in the ERROR cell and see the error messages in the bottom of the screen.
This takes forever in is extremely unefficient in mass error handling. Also I can't export this table to someone working on one of the source files in excel so they can easily see what the problems are and solve them - they have to have access to my file in order to get the extra details for each error.
In order to solve this I would like to add a new column to the table containing those error messages.
I this at all possible?

What I would suggest is following -
1. Let's say the column which is having errors is called Data.
2. In a custom column, put following
=try [Data]
3. Now, it will create a column having records
4. Expand this column - This will create 2 columns - HasError and Error
HasError - True / False - You can filter on True to focus only on Error rows
Error - Will contain a record
5. Now, expand this Error record which will give all required information
