MS Project Connnectivity Issues

Hi, I am having an issue while trying to bring in MS Project data into Power BI. When I try to open up MS Project in Power BI, I get a message that says "AppSource | Apps For Power BI" and then I just see a "Loading..." box under this. I have let this box load for over an hour with no results. Can someone please help me know what I might be able to look into to resolve this problem? Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous ,

It seems that you download the Microsoft Project Online Power BI Content Pack.pbit from Github.

By my tests with the latest version of Power BI Desktop 2.68.5432.841, everything works as expected.

Firstly, please check if you have installed the latest version of Power BI Desktop.

During my tests, if I select the Anonymous authentication, I could reproduce your issue.

Please have a try with organizational account.

Hi Cherry, thank you for the reply! I actually need to access additional data including custom fields using Power BI, which is why I need to use the Power BI Content Pack .pbix file available on Github to connect. Can you please help me troubleshoot this issue? I am receiving the below error message when trying to connect:

Hi @Anonymous ,

If I understand your scneario correctly that you want to connect the Microsoft Project Online in Power BI Service?

If it is, I could load the app successfully in Power BI Service.

Please try the steps below.

1. Sign in Power BI Service

2. Get Data>>Servicve

3. Search Microsoft Project Online and get it.

4.Type in the URL and the parameter.

5. Select the Authentication method and sign in

In addition, you could clear the cache and the cookie then try again.

If you still need help, please feel free to ask.
