M function with dynamic parameter

Hi,

I am trying to create a function with dynamic parameter inputs. Does M engine support this?

For example; here I am adding a new column to the table with a function with one parameter:
Table.AddColumn(RenamedColumnTable, "Data", each (InputColumn1 as text) as any -> (....))

What I want to do is making "InputColumn1 as text" input parameter as dynamic. It can be any number of records such as:
paramsRecord = Table.FromRecords({

   [paramName= "param1", paramType = "text"],

   [paramName= "param2", paramType = "number"]

})

Is there a way to reference this paramsRecord as input parameters of the function?

Hi @v-yalanwu-msft ,

Thank you for the links. I have checked them out. But as much as I see, they are to make the "values" dynamic, not the metadata of the input parameters. For example, I want to reference param variable as the input of the function here:

param = "InputColumn1 as text"
Table.AddColumn(RenamedColumnTable, "Data", each (param) as any -> (....))

will transform to:

Table.AddColumn(RenamedColumnTable, "Data", each (InputColumn1 as text) as any -> (....))
