Hello to all,
I am actually deploying PowerBI reports in a client environment.
The data is pulled from JIRA with REST API.
I am using this kind of url :
https://xxxxxxx.atlassian.com//rest/api/2/search?jql=project='PM'
Until yesterday I could refresh my data without any issue.
Since this morning (7h later) my credentials are not working anymore in PowerBI ... so no refresh no rework of the query possible etc...
I tried on a browser and it is working ...
Do you have a clue of what could have happened ?
Thanks in adavance for your help.

I'm having the same issue. Jira have disabled basic authentication for REST APIs As per the below: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/deprecation-notice-basic-auth-and-cookie-based-a... I'm not sure what other options are available for authentication from PowerBI
Thanks for the tip.
I have contacted Atlassian and I have succeeded to do it.
I am now using in basic auth the combo :
email + APIToken.
It has been solved.
Thx.

Hi @Bastien ,
Your response could be much more helpful if you provided an example of what you are using in PowerBI to authenicate now.
Did Atlassian provide you instructions that you coud share?
Thanks for your help to the community.
Is it possible that is was caused by that :
"During the week of 6/17/2019, Microsoft Power BI will be switching to using the MSGraph API for OneDrive Personal. Once this switch is made, refreshes will fail for customers who import datasets from OneDrive Personal and customers will notice a “Your file cannot be kept up to date because the credentials are incorrect” message in the Settings page."
??
I am not using One Drive personal here but I do have a refresh problem since yesterday.
Hi @Bastien
How about clicking on “Edit Credentials” and sign in which will resume JIRA REST API data source refreshes?
Could you show your error message here?
If you are using a gateway, please check if the data source is connected to gateway properlly.
Best Regards
Maggie
