Hello,
I'm having trouble using Ctrl + Click to trigger a button linked to a bookmark in Power BI Desktop.
Here are the steps I followed:
Additional note: It does work with Ctrl + Enter, but not with Ctrl + Click.
If anyone has a solution for this, I’d really appreciate the help!
Thanks in advance.

Hello @dataguapa
Thank you for your response and for confirming the troubleshooting steps you have already taken.
I have tested the functionality on my end, and the button works as expected in Power BI Desktop. Since it functions correctly in the Power BI Service but not in Desktop, the issue may be related to your local environment. I recommend checking for any system-specific factors.

Hi, Thanks for your response!
To answer your questions:
✅ Action Settings: The Action is turned ON in the Format Pane. I have also tested linking the button to different bookmarks and even external URLs, but I still get the same issue.
✅ Bookmark Link: I have tried linking the button to multiple bookmarks, and the issue persists.
✅ Power BI Version: I have already reinstalled Power BI to ensure I am using the latest version.
The button works fine in the Power BI Service, but it does not work in Power BI Desktop. This is frustrating because I need to go to the Service every time to test the functionality.
Would you have any further recommendations?

I appreciate your testing the functionality on your end. Since the button works correctly in Power BI Service but not in Power BI Desktop, it seems likely that the issue is related to my local environment (Like you said). I was beginning to suspect a computer-related problem rather than a Power BI issue. I have attempted to fix it but have not been able to locate the problem.
Thanks again for your help!
Hi @dataguapa Ctrl + Click on Bookmark Button works, try checking the button (without Ctrl) in the service, it should work normally.
