Invoke Function to use as variable

Dears,

I have 10 Student ID in a table and basicly I want to do post call that will call an API to retrive t he token for all these students.

the call like this:

let

url = "https://api.SchoolXXX/oauth/token",
body = "{""School_id"" :""XXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX"", ""School_secret"" : ""XXXXXXXXXXX"", ""grant_type"" : ""client_credentials"", ""Student"" :XXXXXX}" ,Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents(url, [Headers=[Method="POST", #"Content-Type"="application/json", Accept="application/json"], Content=Text.ToBinary(body)])),
    #"Converted to Table" = Record.ToTable(Source)
in
    #"Converted to Table"

So i want to pass the Students ID that in another table to the POST CAL so i will get the token for each student.

Is that possible?  @mahoneypat

Yes.  You can start with a table with a column of student IDs and pass those into the API call.  Please see this video to see an example, but basically you can conacenate it in your code as follows:

let

url = "https://api.SchoolXXX/oauth/token",
body = "{""School_id"" :""XXXXX-XXXXXXX-XXXXXXX"", ""School_secret"" : ""XXXXXXXXXXX"", ""grant_type"" : ""client_credentials"", ""Student"" :" & [StudentIDColumn] & "}" ,Source = Json.Document(Web.Contents(url, [Headers=[Method="POST", #"Content-Type"="application/json", Accept="application/json"], Content=Text.ToBinary(body)])),
    #"Converted to Table" = Record.ToTable(Source)
in
    #"Converted to Table"
