I am really new to DAX measures and have been working on this problem for days, appreciate any help. I have a date table, inventory table (item, current qty), consumption table (item, date, consumed amt), and a receipts table (item, date, receipt qty). I am looking to see by item and date when an item will have a deficit qty.
Ex: Item 1 has starting balance of 40000, there is consumption for it on 10/1 for 39900 but since we still have an overage I want to exclude it from showing. Data should look like this
| Item | Date | Receipt Qty | Consumed Amt | Balance |
| 1 | 10/8 | 5038 | 8400 | -3262 |
| 1 | 10/22 | 11757 | -15019 | |
| 2 | 9/22 | 500 | -500 | |
| 2 | 10/1 | 500 | 1000 | -1000 |
Hi @talsip ,
Sorry, not very clear.
Please show sample data and expected results.
Best Regards,
Stephen Tao
