Hi @amezar  you might want to look at solution called https://www.acterys.com it offers write-back from Power BI or Excel into SQL Server tables.

Can you be more specific as to the ask?  If you need to add or change data within your reports, just go into Edit Queries and you have full control over imported data.

Hi there!  Yes, I can be more specific. I am bulding a dashboard in Power BI using an Excel database and then from Power BI the user should have the ability to modify data vews on the charts by using sliders (+ or -), however, I don't know if it is possible to save those changes in the Excel database and not just "temporarly" while in the dashboard. Would that make it clearer?

Out of the box, no, your users actions would not write back to the data.

What you will want to do is to embed a PowerApp Custom visual in your report.  Here is the blog post which talks about it:

https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/powerbi-powerapps-visual/

Here is a video on the subject:

Thank you for your input, it is greatly appreciated. I'll do some reserach on PowerApp. Cheers
