In the power BI left outer join query, unmatched values are getting populated with null values

In the Power BI left outer join query, how should I get actual values from the table to replace null values for the unmatched rows.

Thanks.

Hi @ramesh0716

Maybe you can try Full outer join instead of Left outer join. With Full outer join, the unmatched rows from the right table will be grouped to a null row. But in the grouped table, it has all the unmatched values from the right table. You can then expand these unmatched values. Is this what you want?

Hello @ramesh0716 .

Left join will get the matching rows from the right query and will return all the rows from the left query even if they don't match. In that case, values from right query results would be shown as blank.
Can you share a sample of dataset that you have been working with?

Thanks,

Abhinav
