Hello all,
I am very new to Power BI and already finding some small issues that I can not overcome. I have uploaded two data sets to my report, one from excel and the other from an oracle database. In both data sets there are account numbers that are all five digit numbers. In this instance the first 9,999 account numbers start with a zero. My issue is that when I import the excel file it is not pulling in the zeros.I'm hoping this seems like a dumb question to most of you, which would imply that there is a simple solution.
Regardless, thank you in advance for any assistance that can be provided.

On the "Home" tab of the Query Editor, try selecting the column and changing the "Data Type" to "Text" versus, probably "Whole Number". The "Data Type" setting can be found in the "Transform" section of the ribbon on the "Home" tab.
