If statements

I am trying to do a simple if statement while adding a new column in PowerBi. The two columns I am using are both in the same format (whole number). What I am trying to do is if colum "Proc 2" = null then return the value from column "Proc" else return the value from column "Proc 2", I have tried 2 differnt ways and I always get an error. 

1st attempt - 

= Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Final Proc", each if([Proc 2]="" then [PROC] else [Proc 2]))

2nd attempt - 

= Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Final Proc", each if([Proc 2]>0 then [Proc 2] else [PROC]))

Both are showing this error

Hi @Anonymous - you have an uncessary bracket in the if statement and the term null should be use instead of the text string "" for numbers.

= Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Final Proc", each if [Proc 2] = null then [PROC] else [Proc 2] , Int64.Type)

Note use this if you need to consider zeros

= Table.AddColumn(#"Changed Type", "Final Proc", each if [Proc 2] = null or [Proc 2] = 0 then [PROC] else [Proc 2] , Int64.Type)
