Hello,
I am having difficulty with the If stayement syntax. I am attempting to calcultae a column:
NewColumn =
IF(Table1[Fund] = "206010D22", (Table1[Commitments])+DAMPS[DAMPSSUM]), (Table1[Commitments]))
I can get IF(Table1[Fund] = "206010D22", (Table1[Commitments])+DAMPS[DAMPSSUM]) to work, just not ther "ELSE"
Thank you in advance

Hi @therugger2000 ,
Are you trying to calculate the column in DAX or Power Query? As per your syntax it looks like you want a solution in DAX. Could it be the parantheses that are the problem?
Maybe try this:
NewColumn =
IF ( Table1[Fund] = "206010D22", Table1[Commitments] + DAMPS[DAMPSSUM], Table1[Commitments] )
Let me know if this helps 🙂
