Hello, I am trying to use the datamart to create a dataset.

I don't want Power Query to have defined column and header types. But, I have tried several times to check the option for it not to define the types, but the option still unchecks by default. The datamart systematically defines the types of columns :(.

Do you have a solution to this problem?

Hi, @FredKLS ;

You can tranform data into the Power Query and then remove the last step of automatic update data type.

Then select the columns what youu want to change the type.

Thank you very much for this example.

My problem was that I am using dynamic columns coming from Excel files. Using the Datamart, Power Query always put a type on the columns for me, even if I removed it like in your example. And my import was not working.
Finally I force the type of all the columns with a custom function in text format and it works 🙂 .
