Hi I would like to see if anyone can help with splitting one column into multiple columns using Power Query.
I am pulling a list of customers using from SQL database, the list looks like the following:
| Customer ID | Name | Type |
| 123 | Name1 | Addressee |
| 123 | Name1 | Salutation |
234 | Name2 | Addressee |
| 234 | Name2 | Salutation |
Is there any way to restructure the data using Power Query so the data looks like this?
| Customer ID | Name | Type1 | Type2 |
| 123 | Name1 | Addressee | Salutation |
| 234 | Name2 | Addressee | Salutation |
I would like how to rid of two rows per customers and also split the text value under Type into separate columns. Any help is appreciated! Thank you.
