How to link tables of annual interventions and use them as one

Hi there.

I need help configuring my data tables to be able to produce my reports in bi.

I have three excel tables that list the annual interventions. So I have one table per year. I would like to create reports using the cumulative values in these three sources (ie over the three years).
for example, I would like to be able to filter the data of the three tables, etc.

How should I link these tables? I tried using creating a calendar type table and linking the dates of interventions with the date in the calendar table but it does not work.

maybe you have a link to a tutorial or an explanation to help me understand how to do it?

Hi! @ec0014

I connected to your data, merged them into 1 table, and applied group by on your data.

I am sharing back the pbix file for your reference.

OK, but how do I all do this

Hi! @ec0014

Ahh, can you share some sample data in a pbix and your expected solution? I can try giving you the solution over the weekend.

I would say yes. You created a single table with the 3 sheets, is that it?

Hi! @ec0014

You can connect to your data source, append the 3 tables into 1 and create a relationship with a date table. So you can visualize the data as per your needs.

Thanks @AnkitKukreja

You have to create 1 table by merging the 3 others, that's good ?

I just tried to create an example from an excel to understand but I can't find how to attach a file on the forum

Hi! @ec0014

Either upload the data to one drive or drop box and share the link or connect to your data in a pbix file and attach it here. You would see an attachment option just below when you reply.

Here is the link to a file. each excel sheet corresponds to an annual data table.

I want to merge with power query and not with excel

In fact I would like to be able to have power bi indicators that count over all 3 years with each year = a different data source
