How to get table from a subpage of a website which requires user login?
I need to get a Table shown as Expense Summary after finishing data entry of Expenses.
Reason is the stock Summary Report:
- lack export capability
- lack Amount (in currency of receipt).
- lack Condensed Format such as Column Width to Fit Content..
- Column cannot be hidden for somebody who has only one Business Purpose.
It will be ideal to copy and paste Table from this WebPage in Edge Browser into Excel but I need help to do so.
As alternative, I found methods to Import Table from Website but they do not work on said webpage.
I suspect user login is a problem for above methods that work for website that does not require login.
EXAMPLE of what I tried :
Smart Copy (from Edge Browser) into Excel but how to prevent pasted Headers from concatenated string "Sort column ascending"? else, I remove string "Sort column ascending" for Headers

Hi @SunnySchindler ,
There's the web connector in Power Query. Here're the steps:
1. Go to the 'Home' tab.
2. Click on 'Get Data' and select 'Web'.
3. In the 'From Web' dialog, provide the URL of the webpage.
4. The connector will prompt you for access details. Here, you can enter your credentials.
5. Once authenticated, it will display the available data. Select the table you want to import.

Thanks, after more research, it seems that getting data from web via Power Query involves another enhanced security check to reduce user exposure to secure data and browsing information from intruders and hijackers.
My further questions:
- is this enhanced security check redundant when this Webpage opens with my Edge browser?
- how to get Power Query use Edge (default browser) vs IE11?
- If PowerQuery depends on browser to get data from website, I turned off site reload in IE mode assuming it is equivalent to disabling "IE Enhanced Security Configuration" option.
