How to get data from query table created only connection

Hi, I need your help.

To create Power BI, I get data from the table(b) loaded to Excel as the chart below.

I've just felt it troblesome to get by this way.....

I'm eager to know how to get data from the table(a) which is created as only connection.

Good day @Yosuke_KAZEOKA ,

Table (a) is created as "only connection". If you load it to a table then you could connect Power BI to the workbook containing (a).

Hope this helps (and that it isn't a stupid suggestion as there may be a reason you have had to use "Only Create Connection").

Hi @Yosuke_KAZEOKA ,
Based on your description and the flowchart provided, it looks like your initial goal is to get multiple .csv files from SharePoint.Power BI supports getting data directly from SharePoint, you can click on the Get data option to select the SharePoint data source. You can refer to the following two official documents for specific steps.
Create a report on a SharePoint List in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Power Query SharePoint folder connector - Power Query | Microsoft Learn

Best regards,
Albert He

Thanks @Anonymous !

I understand that it may be difficult to get from the table "created only connection". So, I will connect to the Sharepoint.

Thanks for your message @collinsg  !

I'm glad to accept your message‌‌😊

I explain this further.

I've originaly imported data as a table as you indecated to me. But, as I've felt this way to import makes the size of pivot file larger, I changed to use "Only Create Connection".

After that, new problem has occured to me that my report of Power BI couldn't import from same source (table(a) created only connection) as the pivot. So, I made the table(b) additionally for my report of Power BI.

Since it is bothersome to refresh indivisually both table(a) and (b), I wanted to import the data from table(b) created only connection to make my report of Power BI.
