How to connect Helios to Power BI

Hi guys, 

 

do you know how to connect Helios to Power BI?

To connect SingleStore Helios to Power BI, follow these steps:

Prerequisites
Power BI Desktop: Ensure you have the latest version of Power BI Desktop installed.
SingleStore ODBC Driver: Download and install the latest version of the SingleStore ODBC Driver.
Steps to Connect Power BI Desktop to SingleStore Helios
Open Power BI Desktop:
Launch Power BI Desktop.
Get Data:
In the Home ribbon, click on Get Data.
Select More... to open the Get Data dialog.
Select SingleStore Direct Query Connector:
In the Get Data dialog, search for SingleStore.
Select SingleStore Direct Query Connector.
Enter Connection Details:
In the SingleStore database dialog, enter the IP address or hostname of your Helios workspace.
Enter the database name.
Choose Data Connectivity Mode:
Select either Import or DirectQuery as the data connectivity mode.
Click OK.
Authenticate:
Enter your SingleStore Helios credentials (username and password).
Click Connect.
Connecting Power BI Service to SingleStore Helios via Gateway
Install On-Premises Data Gateway:
Download and install the Power BI on-premises data gateway.
Register the gateway with your Microsoft Office 365 account.
Configure Gateway:
In Power BI, go to Workspaces > Create a workspace.
In the workspace settings, go to Manage gateways.
Add a new data source, select SingleStore database, and enter the connection details.
Set Up Data Source:
Enter the hostname or IP address of the SingleStore Helios workspace.
Enter the database name, username, and password.
Save the data source configuration.
