Here is my Dax Calculated column, but I have a lot of data that slows down the process. How can I rewrite this to Mquery ?
Active_records_last_11_months =
var _GP_NB = 'Table'[GP]
var _id = 'Table'[ID]
var _end_date = 'Table'[Start_Date]
var _start_date = EOMONTH(_end_date,-12)+1
VAR _COUNT = RANKX (
FILTER (ALL('Table'),
'Table'[GP] = EARLIER('Table'[GP])
&& 'Table'[ID] = EARLIER('Table'[ID])
&& 'Table'[DATEDIFF] = EARLIER('Table'[DATEDIFF])
&& 'Table'[Start_Date] >= _start_date
&& 'Table'[Start_Date] <= _end_date
),
'Table'[Start_Date],
,
ASC,
Dense
)
RETURN
_COUNT
DAX is executed in memory. Power Query M code is executed on disk. It will most likely be slower.
EARLIER is no longer a preferred choice. Instead, use variables.
