Solved: How filter Dim Table in Power Query

Hi,

For Test purpose , I have a fact table with only 1000 records and another dimension with more than 1 million of rows .

I would like to reduce the dimension table with only the rows available in the fact table in power query

Can you please help me on this matter ?

I don't understand why you have this scenario but to do what you're asking...

Select the dimension table
Choose Merge Queries
Select the matching keys from each table
Set the join type to inner click OK
Delete the newly added column

See gif below... Edit: (choose dimension, not fact)
