Hi All,
I have made a query which compile all of the tables into one master list table and once there's changes made in those separate tables and my master list table will be refreshed with the latest changes. All data sources are within the same workbook and there are no external file connections. I am able to refresh them when I clicked the file from my Teams and choose to open in Excel Apps. However, I got below error message when I directly opened the file in browser. What does this error mean actually?
Can someone shed some light on how could we fix this issue? My aim is actually hoping to enable my users to refresh the data directly through file via browser.
Appreciate your help so much!
Thanks,
Yasmine
Hi,
Unfortunately, the suggested solution is not helping.
Meanwhile, I have tried to check the data source, and I realized something weird: Excel Online doesn't show the data source setting feature, whereas I can see the data source when I hover over my query if the workbook is opened in Excel Apps. However, the data source shown in Excel Apps for this query is "there is no data source for this query." I suppose this is because the query was made up from tables within the same workbook. Would this the problem that caused this error?
Thanks ;')
Please share your Excel workbook, and copy the m-code into the reply so that members of the Forum are able to assess the state.
I found a similar thread, see if that helps
