Hello everybody,
Before explaining the problem, let me explain what it is.
In a nutshell I have sales with total values and duration. Example sale A for a total of 100k over 5 months. So I would have an income of 20k a month.
I would like to create a table where on the y axis I have the sales ids, on the x axis the months, and as values the monthly sales that are repeated for the entire duration of the single sale. In doing so I could simulate the total revenues of the month from different sales. I don't know if I explained myself.
the problem is that there are no cycles on power bi and therefore I don't know/I don't know the formula to create this table.
The only useful formula I've found is this:
Dateisinperiod which creates me a date vector with the actual months of sales.
Hi @jacopo19o1 ,
Can you share a copyable example of your starting data please?
