Hi,
I have no problem with creating hierarchies in .pbix (direct query).
But when I use a connection through an excel (Power BI Publisher or Analyze in Excel), I do not see the hierarchies I created.
Using a simple field "date" is not convenient for applying the filter when building a pivot table (I see all dates for all the years)
I'm looking for a solution to create a convenient hierarchy date filter for the pivot table in Excel that is connected to powerbi.com
Thanks for the help and ideas
@BI2B,
This could be a limitation of DirectQuery, when I use Import mode to connect to the data source and use "Analyze in Excel", hierarchies are available in Excel.

Lydia
Thank you, Lydia
But I need a Direct Query mode only
The same......Did you find the solution?
@BI2B,
You can submit an idea in Power BI ideas forum.
Regards,
Lydia
