Help!

lennyt99_0-1666273730961.png

My last year volume is not returning the correct volume (Correct volume is the "annual volume LBS"), and this is the dax for LY:

Volume LY =
VAR __Date = MAX('Fiscal Calendar'[Daily Date])
VAR __LYDate = EOMONTH(__Date,-12)
VAR __LYEndDate = DATE(YEAR(__LYDate),MONTH(__LYDate),DAY(__Date))
VAR __LYDateStart = EOMONTH(__LYDate,-12)
VAR __LYStartDate = DATE(YEAR(__LYDateStart),MONTH(__LYDateStart),DAY(__Date))
RETURN
SUMX(FILTER(ALL('Opportunity Tracker 2.0'),[Date of Request Rec'd from Sales]>=__LYStartDate && [Date of Request Rec'd from Sales]<=__LYEndDate),[Annual Volume LBS])

any ideas why this is happening?

Hi @lennyt99 ,

Not sure , please try:

Volume LY =
VAR _fy = MAX('Fiscal Calendar'[FY])
VAR _ly = CALCULATE(MAX('Fiscal Calendar'[FY]),'Fiscal Calendar'[FY]<_fy)
VAR _result = CALCULATE([Annual Volume LBS],'Fiscal Calendar'[FY]=_ly)
RETURN
_result

Hi @lennyt99 ,

Create yourself a calendar table and relate it to your fact table on Calendar[Date] ONE : MANY FactTable[Date], then use the following measure for prior year:

_Volume LY =
CALCULATE(
    [Annual Volume LBS],
    SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR(Calendar[Date])
)

Now accepting Kudos! If my post helped you, why not give it a thumbs-up?

Proud to be a Datanaut!

When I do it just returns the anual volume @BA_Pete
