Hi,
Can anyone help me with this. I wanted to create a "Conditional/Custom column" values from another by searching values from other column. Example is below. Column "First Characters" value 515 is present somewhere in "Batch Number" column. I want to search 515 in 'Batch Number' and where ever it present, I want to show corresponding "Batch Name" (PB30) in Custom/Conditional column.
Thanks
Raghu
@Greg_Deckler Thanks for your response. The 'First Characters' field is having other values as well like in below screenshot. Our requirement is to search these values in 'Batch number' filed and pick-up and then if it contains, the corresponding ''Batch Name' should display in Custom column.
@craghubi2020 So are there 2 different tables (queries) involved here? Hard to tell from your image(s)
@craghubi2020 Use Text.Contains: Text.Contains - PowerQuery M | Microsoft Learn
