Hi All,
Need youe expertise in solving a problem
I have 2 Tables - Lets call them Table A and Table B
Table A has records with a date column called as Date_Created.
Table B is simple calandar Date entries which are unique.
Both Tables are not linked with each other as am using Table B only to create a slicer to get user input. Lets call this user input as Selected_Date
All i want to do is to have calculated column in Table A, which should say "Yes" if Table A[Date_Created] > Selected_Date
I tired fetching value of Slicer in a measure as Selected_Date = selectedvalue(Table B[Date]), but doesnt work. However if i enter a constant value Selected_Date = Date(2020,01,01), the calculated column works. But i want user to be able to input date on report.
How do i do this please.

Hi @ajeets
The only way you can do it is with the use of Measure as, as columns are not dynamic and refresh on load only.
Measure = SELECTEDVALUE( table[Date] ) > SELECTEDVALUE( slicertable[Date] )
and place it in the visual

Measure = SELECTEDVALUE( table[Date] ) > SELECTEDVALUE( slicertable[Date] )

This was awesome.. Much appreciated. Instead of column now i have used this measure in visual' filter and got what i wanted..
