Hi,

I am trying to import data that is tabulated in a database-unfriendly format. Instead of having the name of an employee appearing in several rows for several bits of information, the name appears only once, and you just assume that everything below is the same employee, until a new name appears. I would like to either fill the gaps with the same name, of group them by employee name in blocks, so I can create columns with the same name. Both potential solutions are illustrated below.
Any ideas?

Three steps:

1. Replace blank cell with null

2. Fill down names

3. Group by like following:

Hi @lazarus1907 ,
Check the column with the name -> righclick mouse -> Fill -> down.

If this doesn't work because the empty fields are just empty and don't show null, then replace these empty fields by null before filling down.
