Since the PowerBI Desktop January 2022 Release, I cannot connect with the Google BigQuery Datasource to our GCP tables.
Each time in our environment we get the Error:
DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (20) Query execution failed: Cannot parse as CloudRegion.
Details:
DataSourceKind=GoogleBigQuery
DataSourcePath=GoogleBigQuery
OdbcErrors=[Table]
Is that a known issue, and how the CloudRegion can be set from PowerBI side, when the access to the data is etablished?
Thank you in advance for your support and hopefully a solution
Hi @zesa1975 - I'm also experiencing similar issue, do you find a solution to fix it?
I'm facing the same issue. Are you able to resolve it?
Hi @zesa1975 ,
Maybe the following two possibilities caused, you could check:
The projectId is incorrect or is a non-existing project.
The authentication credentials are not set up correctly, you could refer to Solved: Data source credentials - Microsoft Power BI Community
