Getting the Difference month over month for Account Numbers

Hi! 

I was asked to create a dashboard displaying how many distinct accounts have been added and left month to month. 

The metric I am working with Acct - Name and Account - Number. I'm debating between leveraging.

Any help that you could provide would be great!
