Hi all,
new to power bi. I have a list of names and a list of multiple different speeds for an individual. I'm wondering if it's possible to pull the max from a speed column and assign it in a new column so that every time the name comes up his current max speed will in a seperate column aswel?

Hi @Anonymous ,
In Power Query Editor, you can use 'Group By' feature to return the maximum, minimum, or other value for each name.
Sample data is as follows.
Select the Name column and right-click it. Go to 'Group By...'.
If you want to return the maximum value while keeping the original column, remember to add an All Rows column. Go to Advanced, do the following.
You can expand the tables.

Stephen Tao
