Hi, I am trying to add a column in my query or dax to find the date of when the item is being pulled to this Power BI Report. Wondering if there is a way to do this, because each item is pulled in at different time and the item's created time might be earlier than the item being pulled to Power BI
Appreciate for all the help.
Thank you!
Hi @Anonymous
Sorry this is not possible in Power BI. In Power BI, every refresh is a full refresh, which means that it will remove all existing data from the model and import all data from the data source again. It cannot store the historical data that is imported earlier. And all Power Query custom columns and DAX calculated columns are reevaluated/recalculated after the new data is imported. So it cannot record the time of previous refreshes.
Hope this helps.
