Hi folks,
It looks like Power Query truncates imported fields to 1020 characters. I have seen this when loading JSON field from MySQL data source. Is there a remedy to this, I wonder?
Thanks in advance !

Hi @gvg,
Firstly, please check if you have installed the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
In addition, you could refer to this blog What Is The Maximum Length Of A Text Value In Power BI? which should be helpful.

Cherry

OK, this is great article. After some more investigation I figured out, that Power Query does actually import fields longer than 1020 characters, it just shows them up truncated. They appear all right in a visual.
Thanks !
