Facing error in DAX formula

Facing error in DAX formula

=

VAR Start_Date =

MIN ( data[Start] )

VAR End_Date =

MAX ( data[End] )

VAR Column_Date =

MAX ( 'Calendar'[Date] )

RETURN

IF ( Start_Date <= Column_Date && End_Date >= Column_Date, 1, BLANK )

 

i get error:

The expression is not valid or appears to be incomplete. Please review and correct the expression.
The syntax for ')' is incorrect. (DAX(

VAR Start_Date = MIN ( data[Start] )

VAR End_Date = MAX ( data[End] )

VAR Column_Date = MAX ( 'Calendar'[Date] )

RETURN

IF ( Start_Date <= Column_Date && End_Date >= Column_Date, 1, BLANK )
)).

Hi @dharmdutt ,

 

That may be where the problem lies.

You need to add () to BLANK for the engine to recognize it as a function.

Measure = 
VAR Start_Date =
MIN ( data[Start] )
VAR End_Date =
MAX ( data[End] )
VAR Column_Date =
MAX ( 'Calendar'[Date] )
RETURN
IF ( Start_Date <= Column_Date && End_Date >= Column_Date, 1, BLANK() )

The formula is syntactically ok but you are missing the name of the item

VAR Start_Date =
    MIN ( data[Start] )
VAR End_Date =
    MAX ( data[End] )
VAR Column_Date =
    MAX ( 'Calendar'[Date] )
RETURN
    IF ( Start_Date <= Column_Date && End_Date >= Column_Date, 1 )
