Hello,
I am trying to import the data from a BEX Query but every time I get the following error
"Expression.Error: We cannot apply field access to the type List."
As you can see below, the BEX query is very simple.
And here below the screenshot of the error in Power BI.
Could you please help me?
Also, Is there a way to import a hierarchy from SAP?
Thank you very much!
Hi @MatteoColzani,
From your second screenshot, I note that you are only select Dimension of SAP in Power BI Desktop. However, in your Bex Query Designer, you select both dimension and key figures to combine a valid table.
In Navigator of Power BI Desktop, please select both Dimension and key figure(Gross Sales) to import data from SAP , then check if you have any issues.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi,
thanks for your reply Lydia
Unfortunately, also selecting both, the connector does not work
Hi @MatteoColzani,
Are you able to write MDX statement to import data from SAP to Power BI Desktop?
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
Hi,
sorry I don't know MDX, could you please send me an example of the script?
Thanks!
Matteo
