Most of the entries on this column on the Excel sheet are actual decimal numbers, but a lot just have the character "-". I would like to make this 0 instead of "-". Is there an easy to do this?

I tried that at first and it doesn't recognize the "-" as a value.
That's because your column type is numerical. Load it as a text column, do the replacement, then convert it to a numerical column.
