Error Message during saving in PowerQuery

Hello, I get the following error Message during saving in PowerQuery:

Fehler beim Speichern von Änderungen auf dem Server. Zurückgegebener Fehler: "Die DirectQuery-Partition „Tabellen_Name“ weist in ihrem Ausdruck „0“ Datenquellenverweise auf, was nicht zulässig ist. ".

Even if I deaktivate all the Tables I get the same message. Does anyone know what this message means and how to fix it?

Thank you!

Hi @Lisa_grs ,

If I understand correctly, the issue is that you want to save in Power Query but have the error. Please try the following methods and check if they can solve your problem:

  • Ensure that you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop.
  • Attempt to refresh the data model to see if this resolves the issue.

If the above ones can’t help you get it working, could you please provide the following necessary information to make a deep troubleshooting and give you a suitable solution? It would be helpful to find out the solution.

  • What is the underlying data source? Connection mode?
  • Please review the applied steps, look for any step that might be causing the issue and try to correct it. Open the Advanced Editor in Power Query and check the code for any errors.
